Jens is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor whose work has been profiled in the Chicago Tribune. He was a former staff therapist at one of the most prestigious psychiatric hospitals in the country and has worked with clients at all levels of care from detox to outpatient individual psychotherapy. His private practice specializes in individuals who are top-level in their field working with many C-level executives, partners in law firms, and physicians. In addition to his private practice, he is also an instructor in the Masters Counseling Program at DePaul University where he trains future clinicians how to assess and treat addiction.

Prior to his work in psychotherapy, Jens worked in public relations for the film and publishing industries. He spent ten years as the Director of International Public Relations for a film organization before making a major career change. He went from walking the red carpet at Cannes to the carpeted hallways of a psychiatric facility. He currently works and resides in Chicago.
