Dennis Ortman, Ph.D. is a psychologist in private practice in the Detroit area, specializing in the treatment of those suffering addictions and emotional problems. In therapy, he also addresses issues on the borderline between psychology and spirituality. Dr. Ortman has a graduate degree in theology and was a Catholic priest for 14 years before becoming a psychologist. He has written several books on recovery from addictions and the trauma of infidelity.
