Dave Verhaagen is a licensed and nationally board-certified psychologist who earned his PhD from UNC-Chapel Hill. He is the co-founder of Southeast Psych (in Nashville and Charlotte, NC) and has served as the Clinical Director for three mental health agencies. He has authored 8 books, including Therapy with Young Men (Routledge), and written 9 book chapters. He has spoken hundreds of times nationally and internationally and has served as the Executive Producer of two feature-length documentaries that have streamed on Netflix, Apple TV, and Hulu. He has been married to Ellen for 30 years and they have 4 adult children.
