In this presentation you will learn strategies to help break intergenerational patterns of trauma, addiction and dark secrets with individuals and families. You will learn lessons from Iceland, Portugal, Canada, rural and Native American communities in breaking intergenerational patterns. We will discuss the role of therapist, persons with lived experience, parents, siblings, the extended families, indigenous healers and entire communities in breaking generational patterns of trauma, addiction, and dark secrets.
